Lots of users of the popular notetaking and productivity app Evernote were caught off guard when the company was sold. Many more were surprised when news of a price increase as announced. Dave Edwards has some thoughts.

The last thing I need, or most people I know would need, is AI to “clean up” my notes. If that’s a feature driving why the increase is so big, they should have AI only on the higher level subscription and reduce the lower-level rate for those of us who only use and need non-business, non-exotic features.
