You probably work five days a week. That’s the standard in most industries. Some employers think that anything less hurts work output and productivity. But that may not be true.
In an experiment in Britain, 61 businesses offered their employees a four-day workweek as part of a pilot program. Researchers found that employers and employees noticed benefits.
They found there was less employee burnout, company revenue remained about the same, employee retention was strong, and no negative impact on overall productivity.
Here‘s the report summarizing the experiment.
Would this work for your organization? Would you like it to be the new standard of work?
