I will be teaching a course soon on how to make meetings more productive. We’ve all been in meetings that have been a waste of time.
- 65% of employees agree that meetings prevent them from completing their work.
- Employees multitask in at least 41% of meetings.
- 39% of employees surveyed have slept during a work meeting.
- And that figure is even worse for daydreaming, as at least 91% of employees daydream during work meetings.
However, well-run meetings result in creative approaches to complex problems. They don’t all have to be unproductive.
